This painting captures the atmosphere of Birdland, the iconic New York jazz club that left a lasting impression on me. During my time there, I created visual sketches of the interior, the people, the lighting, and the club’s distinctive soundscape. In this work, I seek to bring that vibrant energy to life—where music, color, smoke, and emotion intertwine—evoking the rhythm, intensity, and soul of the city.
